Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is completely the opposite of traditional hatha yoga. It allows the muscles to take a break, and work deeply on the stiffer, dryer and harder tissues such as the bones, ligaments, tendons and fascia.
Slow and Simple poses are held at a much longer timing with/without aid of straps and blocks. Overtime, these connective tissue relaxes and gradually becomes longer and stronger.
