Chow YIn

Chow is a dedicated long-distance runner who discovered the transformative power of yoga nearly a decade ago. Struggling with inflexibility and stiffness from his runs, he turned to yoga as a way to enhance his physical and mental well-being. Over the years, he has found the practice to be incredibly humbling, teaching him the importance of correct breathing, which has, in turn, improved his running performance, as well as other essential life skills such as patience and focus.

Marilyn
Restorative | Theta Gong Bath
Marilyn’s first yoga class was a yin yoga class. The calming effects of a yin practice intrigued her, which led her to pursue teacher trainings to understand the power of slowing down. In class, Marilyn sees herself as a facilitator gently helping her students achieve a deeper awareness of their body and mind, whether it is through a sweaty vinyasa flow or a zen restorative class. Restorative and Gong Bath are her favourite classes to teach because she personally experienced how they bring healing and stillness to the body and mind. Slowing down is an aspect of life that many have forgotten; Marilyn teaches to remind others (and herself!) to slow down and stay in the moment.
